As co-founder and director of a charity organization called Team Music Is Love, Sheila Jones coordinates community outreach efforts for Martina McBride, establishing an incredible legacy of concern, care, and help that extends beyond borders and touches the lives of many in dire need.
Normally, Sheila is out on Martina’s tour doing projects that help towns where the singer performs.
For the last three years, they concentrated their efforts on fighting hunger by sponsoring mass food distributions in neighborhoods and schools where people are in need.
One in six adults and one in five children in U.S. often don’t know where their next meal will come from. And that’s not counting people who are impacted by natural disasters.
2017 became the costliest hurricane year on record – even outpacing the year of Hurricane Katrina and Rita.
Team Music Is Love turned their attention from the towns on Martina’s tour to towns devastated that year by three major hurricanes – Maria, Harvey, and Irma. They sent emergency mobile pantries and truckloads of food, to places like Humble, TX, Orange, TX, and Fort Myers, FL.

Their nonprofit fund at the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee is called the Music Is Love Fund. They give grants to causes all over the country.
Whether a natural disaster or a life changing medical catastrophe, recovery is a long, arduous process and support is integral to success.
