Guess where I was last week?? Vacationing with my family at our yearly reunion when everyone gets together to relax, have some fun, and cook.
But where?? You won’t believe it when I tell you… Three guesses.
The mountains?? No, three of our family live in Montana where the sky decided to snow on June 22, Summer Solstice.
A Brand-name Amusement Park?? We do have a four year old among us but no, we don’t particularly like to stand in long lines.
Last Guess…
The Beach. Still our favorite and a perfect example of Love and Fear.
How can the Gulf, so relaxing, rejuvenating, and eternal, also be so beautiful and deadly??
During the week, surf conditions varied from double red flags on the first two days to green all calm at the end of the week. A lifeguard on patrol actually stopped and warned us of policemen ticketing anyone allowing children or in the water themselves. Never saw that before.
Water conditions varied from cloudy to turquoise blue to filled with jellies!!
“There’s a hurricane in the Gulf.” Nothing evokes Love and Fear like that declarative sentence uttered during Hurricane Season.
Love expands. Fear contracts. Life can change at any moment. Live your Best!!
